That's right, Carnage is about to give birth to a new Symbiote. Carnage wants to kill it, but Venom won't allow it. Killing the symbiote also means killing it's host, New York cop Pat Mulligan. Of course, the bonding means that Pat and the symbiote are now one ... they are Toxin.
And Spider-man and the Black cat manage to get caught up in the mayhem.
